Ms. Patama Chantaruck was named Vice President for Indochina Expansion and Managing Director of IBM Thailand in October 2018.

She is responsible for growing IBM’s ecosystem and helping clients adopt cloud and cognitive technologies for digital transformation. Patama has over three decades of international and regional experience in various leadership roles. Prior to IBM, she was the GM for WW Software Asset Management & Compliance at Microsoft.

Patama is an active advocate and mentor for women in technology. She was a member of the Women’s Senior Leadership Program at The Kellogg School of Management, a panelist at the Global Women’s Summit in Australia and Switzerland, and at Janes of Digital in Seattle, WA. She was also a recipient of three 2018 Stevie awards, including Female Executive of the Year (Business Services – More Than 2,500 Employees), Mentor or Coach of the Year (Business) and Women Helping Women (Business).
