Nadia Mannell is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Seed South Capital, an early-stage venture fund investing in African ingenuity and innovation with a keen focus on IP Commercialisation in partnership with the South African Government and Corporate Partners.
As an Angel Investor into various emerging market startups in areas of Health-tech, Blockchain, Gaming, and Social Commerce, and having raised over $1 Million dollars in 12 months for early stage startups, Nadia sits on the Steering Committee for the 2022 Female Angel Network in Dubai.
Nadia Mannell is also the Chief Strategy Officer and Deputy of the Steering Committee for Women-in-Tech, a global organization in 30 countries focused on driving advocacy, education, social inclusion, and economic growth for women in STEM. She started her career in public relations, corporate communications, and marketing at Audi in Germany, before joining Meltwater, where she spent 10 years and served as Managing Director of the B2B SaaS companies African operations, overseeing Africa’s largest Key Account portfolio. Post Meltwater, Nadia started working for a Dubai based Accelerator where she served as Director of Investor Relations and in addition, consulted on Blockchain and Crypto based projects while building Seed South Capital.
Mother of 2, avid learner, impact investor, interested in disruption, and advocate for female leadership in tech, Nadia works across Africa and the Middle East and is based in Dubai.
